京都教区という一つの船が、キリストを目指し、創立90周年の節目に向かって、ともに歩む姿を表しています。船に乗る4人は、京都（紫）、滋賀（水色）、奈良（蘇芳色）、三重（緑）の教区民を象徴しています。船のデザインには、大塚司教の紋章に描かれた船のイメージも重ねられています。

About the Logo for the 90th Anniversary of the Diocese of Kyoto
The logo depicts the Diocese of Kyoto as one boat, journeying together toward Christ and the milestone of its 90th anniversary. The four people aboard represent the faithful of Kyoto (purple), Shiga (light blue), Nara (suō, a deep crimson), and Mie (green). The design of the boat also reflects the ship motif in Bishop Otsuka’s coat of arms.
